Today I'm gonna share my experience about laravel.
If did'nt have php or apache in your local machine, you can easely setup laravel environment by using <a target="_blank" href="https://herd.laravel.com/">https://herd.laravel.com/</a>.
After installed, now let's create laravel project.
Open your terminal.
<pre><code class="lang-bash">composer create-project laravel/laravel project-name
</code></pre>
To run the project.
<pre><code class="lang-bash">php artisan serve
</code></pre>
If you clone laravel project from github.
First must generate key.
<pre><code class="lang-bash">php artisan key:generate
</code></pre>
If you want to run on different port, you can do this.
<pre><code class="lang-bash">php artisan serve --port 8081
</code></pre>
